Stopping by (Day 2 Early Eve, Olon's Ship)

[Alsten Linth]

"I don't even really know what normal is." He replied with a slight chuckle. "I suppose I've seen what they say it is on the vids, but never seen it for myself."

"There isn't much of normal where I'm from after all." He reached up a hadn to rub the back of his head. "Not saying it's out of the question, just a bit doubtful I think."

[Syneisha Versathi]

"Normal's not having to steal to live, Alsten," she said with an almost kind tone. "Personally I think those people in general miss out on living. Too much excitement in the galaxy to be had to just settle for some... regular desk-job with a family, maybe a pet or two."

"But you're not planning on going back to Nar Shaddaa, I take it?"

"Never really understood pets... Why would folks want some sort of furball following them around everywhere? I mean It's not exactly like you could take em with you if you had to leave in a hurry anyways,:

"I guess that's all part of being normal though, staying in one place... You don't plan for having to leave in a hurry."

[Syneisha Versathi]

Syn shrugged, not being a pet-person herself unless it meant people who could carry your shopping bags or rub your feet after a long day.

"I believe it's the company that makes people have pets. Not my thing either, too much responsibility." Helping out the occassional street kid like Alsten was the limit to her maternal instincts.

"Anyway, I am hoping to catch the comedy-show at the Silky Salon. Is there anything else I can do for you, Alsten?"

[Alsten Linth]

He shook his head, he really didn't like relying much on others himself. Taking the occasional helping hand from Syn was about the limits of his desire for aide.

Maybe that was just him being a stubborn kid though. "Nah, I'm good thanks." The young man repleid a moment later. "Enjoy the funny people."

[Syneisha Versathi]

"Oh, I'm certain I will. They are quite talented at the Silky Salon," she said with a smirk, knowing she'd be in for a good time.

"Take care then. And have some fun while we're here too."

[Alsten Linth]

"I'll try." He replied rising to his feet and offering the older woman a wave.

"See ya later." He offered easily before moving towards the exit.

Syneisha waved back and watched him leave.

Geez, maybe she was getting sentimental in her old age... nah, she dropped that thought like a bad habit and would continue to forget about it that day.
