And somehow, at some point... there was one more sapient in the back of the room, staring into a mug of tea while wrinkling her nose skeptically. A slender blue sapient in a nondescript dark turtleneck and coveralls, tinted glasses partly hiding her eyes.

She took a doubting sip of the warm liquid.

Needed more sweetener. A lot more.

"Now it's everyone." Olon said.

She rose stiffly, showing some, but not all, of her age. "Now, before I begin, This operation depends on the utmost secrecy. If anyone hears this plan and wants out, well..." She smiled. "You're not who I thought you were. But we'll arrange an all-expenses paid vacation for you at a very remote resort for the duration of the operation. No questions asked or answered."

She looked around the room, judging reactions, before going on. "An ideal mission achieves more than one objective. Purpose and payoff at the same time, obfuscation and achievement. We intend to steal a fortune in credits. We intend to steal priceless antiquities. And we intend to steal..." she paused a moment, "-the Black Book."

The Black Book (Lore or Knowledge:Underworld Hard*) was a legendary collection of information, the combined knowledge of hundreds of spies over the last three-hundred years, cataloging nearly every major event of The Republic and The Sith Empire. If there were covert eyes on something, it's rumored to be in the Black Book.

Of course, its very existence is supposed to be a rumor as well.

Virillo has somewhat sarcastically crossed his heart at the information security stage, but now he was just looking at Olon with a raised eyebrow.

“....Well if it’s expensive as it is ominous it should be worth a chunk of change.”

Wasn't it's just someone's little book of ladies with loose morals? Alsten wasn't quite sure why they would want to steal that. Of course some of the other things sounded interestign enough. Priceless old stuff and a fortune in credits were right up his alley after all.

There was one at the table that seemed to think the Black book wasn't just full of the comm addesses of a bunch of hot chicks Which well could be the case, Aksten wasn't about to sound dumb by askign about it though.

"No way," she chuckled, shaking her head. Addy had been at least in the game long enough to hear talk about it. Certainly a few of her long list of previous associates would have been interested by such rumors, and even hopeful that it was really out there somewhere.

Leaning onto the side of her chair with her free arm she laid her chin onto her hand. "Which crime-vid are we ripping off for a plan on this one?" she added in disbelief.

Credits would do. The other stuff, well, whatever the lady needed was good enough reason. He'd never heard of it, so rather than let on he just nodded. Seemed like Addy had the lowdown so he'd be sure to ask her for more info later. Her reaction was fun though...

Leaning onto the side of her chair with her free arm she laid her chin onto her hand. "Which crime-vid are we ripping off for a plan on this one?" she added in disbelief.

"Pick your three favorite." Olon said dryly.

She pressed the controls. The screen lit up, revealing the image of a planet, a young man, and a young woman.



"This is Hapes, capital of the Hapes Consortium. You will never find a more wonderfully gilded hive of scum and villainy."




"Prince Apollo of Hapes and Princess Erdene of Onderon. They are scheduled to be wed on Hapes. Have any of you ever attended a royal wedding before?" Olon clicked her tongue. "Grand affairs. Thousands of people, from all over the galaxy, entering normally tightly secured areas. Ostentatious displays of wealth and power. History... did you know that it's a Hapan tradition to display the crown jewels at the ceremony?"

She pursed her lips a moment. "Security. Scrutiny. Hundreds of alert guards. But not watching us. Not if we do it right."

She sat down, taking another slow sip of her tea. "And they have the Black Book. How they acquired it, I don't know. But it's there now. All that accumulated knowledge, stored in a vault..." She trailed off.

Ah, we’re ripping off the Hapes. Very good, carry on.”

"But that's not real..." Pirri muttered skeptically toward the bottom of her mug.

However, skepticism went by the board when the target appeared on the display. Pirri's glasses slipped down her nose a little as her head came up sharply, and her red eyes almost visibly glittered. "Crown jewels? You're bringing up crown jewels because we're going to steal them, right?" Otherwise it would be an unbearable tease on Olon's part, just unbearable.

"Would not want to adopt plans from those one's, trust me," she muttered. Certainly not so loud as to detract from the meeting or even enough that Olon could hear her. Those seated near her, of course, would have had an entirely different experience as she settled into her seat and sipped at her tea.

For her part as thing developed, Addy studied the visuals of the two targets in question intently.

"Seems nice. We're gonna fit right in." To the vault probably. This was going to be a hell of a party.

"Of course we are. Even the Onderonian ones too, as they'll be bringing over their traditional regalia for the occassion," Syneisha confirmed with a confident smirk.

"It's practically an all-you-can-eat buffet."

Ava narrowed her eyes. Of course she had heard about this before during one of her many escapades. "That's too much information in one archive," she said. "It'd be impossible to even sift through all of that information."

She eyed the others. "And during a party? Why would they keep it in the vault?" Clearly she had many, many, many questions on her mind.

Hapes Royal Security? Isond pulled out her datapad, tapping a few notes for research to come. The actual items weren't particularly important, honestly, though... She glances at Pirri, then back toward the presentation. "We're stealing something that's not real? Digital book, then?"

"Not real as in-" she started, but stopped in the explanation suddenly. Glancing over to Virillo for a moment before she shook her head. With a steadied voice she continues, "It's like the boogieman. Something that's too crazy to actually exist. Person with that book could.. well, they'd suddenly have a lot of targets on their back. One day you're nobody, next day you're the galaxies greatest information broker."

"Affirmitive, Isond Vaal," the hologram looked straight at the woman.

"My records confirm that the Black Book is a physical book, not a digital file or data stick."

Eyes narrow in thought, at the hologram's words, nodding a bit. "Pity. have to get physical hands on it then to move it. A little tougher and can't just copy it out from under them."

"How's a physicalbook do that...?" she adds, looking at Adrienna. "Ah nevermind, we're getting it and that's the important part, right?"

The princess seemed pretty cute, which figured. Princesses were supposed to be cute. "Sounds like it might be a bit hard to fence that sort of thing. Crown jewels and the like."

"Guess you have a plan there?"

"But if it's just a book, then it has to be outdated even by now," Ava complained. She looked at the estate on the screen and shrugged. "At least the other bits should be worth a lot of credits."
