Nowhere to Be [MA2: Salky Hound]

Leaning against one of the landing gears nearest the gangway Addy waited beneath her ship. A backpack looking thing laid down by her foot, leaned against the same. Hands toying around with the metallic silver case which held her cigarettes. Didn't have a mind for pulling one out at the moment but that could always be changed.

Approaching the ship was the familiat twi'lek figure, dressed like she was going places as she often did. No doubt she probably had some plans after this meeting. Or had had some before.
"Wow..." she said, looking up at the ship as she came within its shadow. "... I'm amazed you're flying in this thing."

"It's a place to sleep," she leaned off the ship and stepped forward a bit. "Never thought I'd have one let alone-" she shook her head. With a beckoning hand she nodded toward the gangway.
"Come on up, see what thins look like from the inside. Just- keep your expectations as they are, hmm?"

She laughed, giving the ship a few pats. "Expectations duly lowered, captain."
Olon's ship was a little bigger, and the crew had spent some cash on making it a home so it had decent amount of amenities and luxuries. So Syneisha knew to set her bar low for now.
"How long has it been your ship?"

Stowing away her silver case in an inner-jacket pocket Addy started leading the way aboard, "It's been-" pausing she thought a moment before glancing back over her shoulder- "about a year or so before I found you after.. well, everything."
Addy walked up the board ramp and brought them through the right, stopping just in front of the galley. Glancing about it to see if anyone was there, but she hoped rather than expected to find no one. At least for the moment, the hope was rewarded.

Following behind, Syneisha looked around, a polite smile on her features.
"It's very... rustic," she settled on as a compliment of sorts.

"It's a ship," she added with a shrug. Giving a nod toward the rest of the hallway that lead to her quarters. "Final stop up ahead."
"Anything you want while we:re here," she made a vague gesture toward the fridge in the galley.

"Oooh, do you have sparkling water?" she cast a glance to the fridge, wondering what a shark-man, an Umbaran, and Addy would stock in their pantry.
Little fishies for the shark?
Blood for the Umbaran?

"I might," she said, walking off into the galley. Kneeling down as she opened the fridge and digging around. Wasn't long before she came out with a tall plastic bottle of some no-name brand.
Coming back around she handed it over, "And for you. Also- thanks for coming, hmm?" she paused a moment to check she was ready before she'd make way to her quarters.

Syn smiled and winked, accepting the bottle. Not even she was so rude as to decline what the host offered - especially since the host was an old acquaintance.
"Hey, no problem. It's... well, it's strange to kind of catch up with the past, you know. I tend to rarely look back." Opening the bottle, she took a brief sip as she followed Addy. "But, when when I knew we had to pull in some pretty good folks for this heist, I knew you were on the top of my list."

"Think I'm a prime example of not quite looking back, hmm?" she glanced back and smirked. Getting to her door wasn't a long walk and they were there just before Syn even finished talking. Which gave Addy plenty of time to get through her door, which was most certainly off-limits to the rest of the crew.
"Always happy to be on top," she smirked, leading Syn inside the room. Immediately through the door way the first thing that would be notable was the weapon racks along the back-left side of the wall, although what was on them was obscured slightly from the doorway alone as the case was set into the wall a little. Next to them was her bed, and to the back right a terminal. With a wardrobe to their immediate right.
"But more seriously, I'm happy I was so high on the list. Thinking.. think I really needed to be here," she said, walking in toward the back of the room and glancing at the weapon rack. On on half a vibro-rapier and blade breaker combo that was from one of her jobs back before she was freelance. Next to it a memento from her very first freelance job, a vibro-glaive of the quality only beastmasters could appreciate.

Finding a vacant spot against the wall to lean up against, Syn closed the lid on the bottle to avoid any potential mishaps.
"Oh? That's an interesting conclusion to come to... what makes you think that?" she asked with a curious tone while her eyes took in the details of the room, and its mementos.

Addy half-sat-half-leaned on the table part of the terminal, reflecting on the vibrorapier for a moment. Shifting a little as she came out of the reverie she looked over to Syn with a slightly distant look, "Ever see something you just quite couldn't believe and yet.. it was still there when you looked back?"

Syneisha's lips pursed for a moment, her eyes going to the vibro-rapier as well. "A couple of times, yes. It's a crazy galaxy out there, after all."
"What particular moment is on your mind?"

"Ghosts."
She left the pause for a while, letting the word hang in the air so that it kept calling attention to itself. After merely a moment of time she continued, "Ghosts in the flesh, at least. Walking and talking like you or me and yet I was certain they were gone. But-" she shook her head. Smirking, "Gettin' m'self carried away, hmm?"

"Ghosts?" Syn echoed, sounding surprised by such a word.
"Please tell me you haven't been touching any of the drugs that might've been floating around last night at The Zero. Some of them can make you see all sorts of things." For a moment there was a genuine concern in her tone. Then, Syn inhaled deeply and closed her eyes.
"Ghosts huh?"

Addy looked up, watching as Syn calmed herself. Even dared to twitch at a smile but it faded before Syn's eyes opened again. Though it wasn't the last thing to twitch a little as her hand itched to reach into her pocket and find that silver case.
"Ghosts," she confirmed with a small nod, "'least they should be. This one's.. definitely still walkin' though, talkin', breathin' too," she smirked, shaking her head. "Unless someone's been lacing my cigarettes on me-" she held up the hand to wave off a thought, "and that's near enough impossible- but this one's not just me seeing things."

It was hard to pin down what Syneisha was feeling as she looked at Addy. "From back... with the Black Sun? I heard you were in a situation there, where you were the only survivor on a job gone wrong."

Addy hesitated a moment, glancing away toward the door for the briefest of moments. When she looked back to Syn there was a mixed expression she wore, but even she wasn't sure if it was from what happened then or the here and now.
Either way, when she spoke she hid it well but it still had the faintest taste of guilt to her tone.
Addy nodded, "Yea- I thought I was the only survivor too.. until yesterday. Well, today. Didn't quite believe my own eyes all of yesterday," she chuckled but it lacked the usual heart.

Syneisha nodded cautiously, but offered a sympathetic look to Addy. Ghosts of the past was rarely nice.
"Who is it?"
