Payday (Day 10)

"Plenty of time for being dour about it later Flower Power," she chuckled, shifting how she sat so that she could lean her arm across a bent knee that pointed to the ceiling. "Right now- we've earned at least a little laughing, jokin', drinkin'."

Addy let that sit a fast second as she started to bring up her cigarette but stopped halfway, "Even if it did play out more like one of those old flics," she flashed a glance and smirk at Olon as she took a drag from the cigarette.

[Pirri]

Pirri was twirling a tiny but obviously sharp jeweled dagger, tossing it up and catching it in with a casual disregard for the safety of her fingers (or else extreme confidence in her own dexterity). Somewhere on her person were several pouches of high-grade loose gemstones, but you wouldn't know that just to look at her. She looked as pleased as a monkey-lizard that had just broken something valuable.

"So, what's the next job?"

It was hard to tell if she was serious or not.

Teffa blinked and looked at Addy, "Wait, the laughing and joking part was supposed to come afterwards?"

"Colour me embarrassed, I guess I got ahead of myself! Of course, I had absolute confidence things were going to be all right. So you could say that I totally went all in," she chuckled, "but I'll suppose that we'll have to split eventually if you're talking about being safe and sound. It's a huge galaxy but obviously, one that is smaller in some corners as I've found out..."

She gave a glance to Pirri and then to Olon. Well, how many 'last jobs' did the lady have left in her exactly. She always did guess this wasn't the real last one.

Gruwmun, finished with arranging seats for everyone, approached Alsten. The wookie's furry paw patted Alsten gently on the shoudler as he made a concerned little roar.

"<Rwurrr?>"*

ALste offered the big fuzz ball a small smile followed by a thumbs up.

"I'm fine, jsut a little tired."

Ava shrugged. "Call me dour all you like. I have someone I need to help out, though." She glanced at the others and gave a genuine smirk. "I'm sure I'm not the only person who has somebody to look out for."

[Tenel Olon]

"We all had our reasons." Olon said. She was neither eating nor drinking, instead just watching from her chair. "What you do with your money is entirely up to you. Whether to retire, or for some cause, or simply to finance the next big job."
