Day 2 (14.01 to 16.01)

Post by Hatoful GM »

Day 2

Weather: It's space. It's cold outside, no kind of atmosphere. Port Nowhere is currently located somewhere in the Outer Rim. Which probably fits its namesake well as the current location truly is nowhere.

Events:
Steal A Sheep In Passing [Early Afternoon. Unlimited Event]
Sullustian Stand-Off [Early Evening. Combat, Limited]
A Winning Hand [Late Evening. Sabacc finale, Limited]

News: Port Nowhere doesn't have dedicated newscast, but frequently pick up news from other parts in the galaxy. Sometimes at random.

*images flash of explosions in a populated city*
"It's really happening! The Eagle said he'd bring freedom to the people, and bring down the tyranny of the Sith, and now it's really happening! They're blowing up the main traffic lines. They're blowing up residential areas! The Sith won't talk about it happening - they fear it will give us a voice, but we have a voice, and it's loud! And it won't be silenced anymore!" the young woman shouts loudly while she's looking around herself, wary of her surroundings.
*the crowd around is in an equal mixture of panic and excitement*
"Hey, you there!"
*a group of Imperial soldiers appear, and begin to shoot at the crowd. The transmission is cut.

"... and that concludes the summary of the city council's case against Ogon Trading Company, in the on-going four day trial in Dewbright's highest court," the Ithorian news-reporter speaks in a very slow drone that could lull even a wookie to sleep.

"The Kilik Hive of Dewbright, whom now call themselves the Dew-Children and who are a sub-group of the Killiki Alderaanis, will today begin their annual tradition of calling in the rain season. As has become tradition these past three years, the Dew-Children peacefully congregate by the base of the Erkeere Ridge to the south, where they engage in tribal activities of music, chanting, and dancing until the rain season starts. They call this the Heralding Of Nurturing Rain, and last year it lasted five days and fourteen hours before the rain season began, which was an increase of thirty-three hours of the year before. The current prediction is that it is likely that the time will go down this year by a minimum amount of five hours, to a potential maximum of eighteen hours, due to current atmospheric activities that indicate a stormy rain season." The Ithorian ho-hummed thoughtfully.
