Of course the people he had worked with had been as blue as himself and thus generally rather amicable with their little co-conspirator. "So, basically normal rich bastards?" he asked with a smirk on his lips.

Olon smiled at that, clearly amused. "Essentially, yes."

His gaze then shifted to the working for a moment. It was too bad he didn't understand what the fuzzy guy was saying.

"So mayhaps it's better to avoid breaking them, at least until we are about to leave. I'd really hate to be chased by a mob." By the sound of of, the pantoran con man had personal experience.

"Some in groups, some as individuals. Not to throw any shade, but some of us would draw too much attention on our own, but could be explained away as part of a retinue, or as slaves even." Her nose wrinkled a little. "I understand that it's a sore spot for many of us here, but I trust we can all live with a ruse for when that's needed. HK, for instance, you might better pass off as someone's bodyguard or protocol droid."

"Anyway, we'll have time to work that out after we leave Port Nowhere. We're headed to a resort on Hapes that is far removed from the capital, giving us plenty of time to prepare there - as Gruwmun said, we need to see how everyone is getting along and working together."

Teffa found herself wincing at the slave word. As much as she'd like to think that working at Nerf Burgers and the Roller Fly-In was slave labour, it's not quite the same thing. Still without personal experience and someone of high upbringing, she'd rather not draw short straws for that role...

Meanwhile Jedra, fondling his precious stones and looking generally smug, scanned the room. "Mhmhm... do we have a particular plan on that, or is that something we are going to figure our on the way there?"

"It's something we're looking to figure out on our next stop. Consider it our... training grounds, so to speak. There we'll see how everyone manages to work together - see where the chemistry and combinations are." Syneisha waved her hands a little as she tried to put words to that good synergy that an excellent team would have.

"The Azure Atoll's resort is remote and rather exclusive, and is one of the few places on Hapes that caters to off-worlders, so we're not worried about the intense scrutiny we'll get when we get to Ta'a Chume'dan - the capitol of Hapes. We'll have lots of area and room to ourselves there, compared to here."

She chuckled. "Port Nowhere's a good place, but far too many dangers and possible interlopers."

"Ooooh, an atoll, exclusive and exclusive...I like the sound of all of that," she beamed with a smile.

Her smile did fade slightly went she got an inkling that an atoll likely meant beaches and hot weather. 'Tropical' where she came from was brisk cool air and alpine trees. "Ah, well...I'm sure they have very good indoor facilities there too."

"Mhmhm." he frowned, though nodded approvingly. "That sounds like a good idea as long as it doesn't get out of hand." Being chased by Hapes security detail did not sound appealing at all. "I guess we have the trip there to figure out what might work?"

"I hope they do." Jedra added with a nod. Pantora was known for many things - it's democratic system, thriving trade and its many, honorable clans. What it was not known for was 'holiday resorts' as the planet was more an ice ball than anything else. "There's bound to be a casino of sorts, no?"

Alsten had never been to a beach resort, honestly he had never been to many nice places at all. Still he wasn't surprised that a lot of the old folks were looking for a way to stay inside. When you got older weather got uncomfortable quicker.

It wasn't there fault though, just time playing its cards. It just meant he would have more time to explore on his own.

At Syn's mention of slaves Chomaron muttered something under his breath. It was verging on infrasound, but the gist of it seemed to be that he wasn't very impressed with that idea thank-you-very-much.

The mention of an atoll at least evoked a more pleasant response. It had been a while since he had been able to spend much time in his natural habitat.
