Why a kid?

Pardon the ignorance if that's a common trope to the genre that I'm missing there.

I wonder what he thought about the adults in the group and growing up in general. I get the feeling that none of the grown-ups here gave him much faith in things like responsibility and adulting. XD

it seemed a bit different? Also I figured a lot of the tropes would be hit already so go for something kinda like a young up and comer.

There were adults here? Alsten didn't really care much one way or another about growing up. Honestly he didn't think age had much to do with adulthood at all. From what he saw from most of the adults here his opinion didn't change much either :p

Ah too bad about the dance scene. I kind of nosedived in terms of posting myself.

If the kid had to pick a parental figure, who would he look up to the most out of the crew?

"The Kid" is a fun trope to play with in Team/Heist stories. You need the young character to make references about "how you seen that really old movie Empire Strikes Back?" and be all cool and hip. 8-)

Alsten was very enjoyable to read! But I admit that I sometimes wondered what to do with a teen in some storylines, so I introduced Risha... but I kind of floundered on what to do with her and when I had the idea of what to do I wasn't able to carry through on it, and you seemed busy/struggling with RL too at that point, so I let it be.

Thank you for playing!

Sorry we didn't get very far with our scenes, stupid RL! Compared to Jedi Academy we didn't get much RP time at all, so it goes. It was good to see Alsten kicking ass in the train heist, especially since orokos was so unkind to you this game.

Which spec or specs did you go with in the end?
Karkarodon • Bounty Hunter • Teeth • Pilot of the Salky Hound • Shark > Lizard • Synergised

Equipment: Padded armour, Big Ol' Rifle, Belt Pouch (Stim Pack), Stim packs, Energy Pack, Datapad, Tracker goggles, Sporting Electrobinoculars, Swanky scarf.

Probably Teffa? She was a bit eccentric, but the Chiss girl did at least seem to have things going her way. She didn't seem to mind his age much either which was a plus for him.

Thanks fur running! Yeah I admit have some trouble with him as well, he fit in pretty well in port nowhere and it was kinda easy to get into his vibe. I really floundered in the resort though, it simply wasn't his kind of enviroment. I probably could of helped with that a bit, but some of the choices like an inability to swim made too much sense in my head to change.

isha seemed fun, but as you said time and my own involement weren't at their stong points by the time that really came around.

Time was really at a premium for both of us this game, so no worries there. Finding the time and energy to post was pretty tough I know on my front. As for build Alsten is Spy - Scout/ Sleeper Agent. I perhaps should of went with one treee, but this spread allowed me a lot of the diversity i wanted.
