Getting The Team Together [D1EA]

"...our toughest guys will have the fun job of diversion. Be a big enough threat to draw some of the attention away from the other teams." Syneisha smirked at the droid. "I'm sure some of you don't need an excuse to cause some mayhem."

Kaddhur un-leans from the wall as he fills with pride. Chest out, arms akimbo, feathers puffed, the weight of the jetpack requiring one leg to be slightly back and the other forward. He thinks about saying something bold, like "A warrior of Arar is a master of such tactics!" or "I will take flight for this cause!", but nothing seems quite right and while he's thinking about it the moment passes.

He settles into a more comfortable, sustainable, less-pose-like version of the pose, listening to the flow of conversation.

"I hope the loud and proud team has a good extraction plan then," Ava said, glancing at the muscle of the group. Some of them seemed like the type to welcome a vicious death.

[Tenel Olon]

"She will be a danger. Clever and cautious. Capable of deduction. We should avoid her path as much as possible." Olon put in, speaking softly.

[Kaurin Vizla]

"Yeah. Just so long as they're fast as well as big. I don't think that'll be a problem." Kaurin grinned.

"And hey, the distraction's got a good payoff too. All part of the bigger plan."

[Syneisha Versathi]

"So that means we're hitting the palace vaults, the crown jewels of both Onderon and Hapes, and whatever rich suckers that are bound to be at this shindig." Syneisha counted off on her red fingers as she listed it up.

"The plan is also that everyone gets their slice of the pie - from all those targets. For anyone who wishes to do that one last job before retiring, well, this is it. Nothing's going to beat the money we'll make from this, and that's not even counting for the value of the black book."

[Virillo Kamon]

Addy went distant a moment at the thought, but chuckled sardonically as she shook her head. Taking her time to look around the room to see who might have bought into that line. Laying the cup down nearby, crossing her arms as she measured people up.

"My dear," she chuckled, "the thrill of it all is at least half the fun. What is a heist without a little bit of danger? Besides, it's not like there will be Sith Lords and such there, so the chances of electrocution are so much lower."

“Of course there will be sith, there’s always sith. We’ll probably get to the vault and some sith drek head will be sitting there having stumbled in drunk the night before.”

"Then we'll just point down the hall and say 'look, unlimited power!' That'll get rid of him." Kaurin quipped.

[Gruwmun]

The wookie laughed, nodding in agreement with Kaurin.

"Hey I can network with the best of 'em. Diversion sounds fun though. They got any Bounties out?" It wouldn't hurt to have a respectable reason for being there.

Isond nods toward that, records or no, not everyone was going to look all that believable as royal wedding tourists. Though she planned to memorize as much royal trivia as possible for that role.

Letting the exuberance of digging into a big job roll around the room, Isond flicked through screens on the pad absently, a small frown drawing a line down the middle of their forhead . What did you even do without a job to work on? Assuming that ever actually happened.

"If tiptoeing into their data security's likely to draw attention the next time...guess that ought to be figured as a distraction too." There was an itch to at least try slipping in for more information, but it wasn't worth messing up the entire operation for it.

Teffa couldn't help but tilt her head at the mention of 'one last job', without knowing entirely what was at stake. She had heard that term enough to at least not put her pipe dreams into that prospects. There were plenty of one last jobs around the galaxy. Word was, Tser Tolen was on his sixth or seventh 'one last job'. Was there anyone in the galaxy who was truly debt free to keep all the money they would be raking in?

Still...there was money involved and Teffa was very much interested, real 'one last job' or not.

"Avoid the security lady, got it. I don't think we'll actually be meeting face to face with the couple either? Seems rather silly to stick out our face when we're leaving with their goods. It's probably a good way to lose your goods, and your face too," she smirked with a shrug.

Syneisha was pretty sure she had some bounties on her head. Just making sure to offer a better deal than the client.

"I don't know if they got any bounties, but we're working on the... covers, so to speak. Now that we have you here in person to begin settling that out. We have some time before the wedding to get the team working smoothly, and I'm sure there will be some opportunities. I'm sure there will be some opportunities for you in that time, big guy."

"so, what're the rules set out between now and the job?" she asked, glancing over to Syn. A little nod given toward Chomaron as well. "If we're talking opportunities before the big day, figure there might be some guidelines on what we should be getting up to?"

"Stay out of trouble." Olon said firmly. "Beyond that, use your discretion."

She looked around the room. "As usual for this sort of thing, it's not simply a matter of waiting for the right time. Gear will need to be acquired, and steps will need to be practiced. Nothing that you haven't done a dozen times. More or less, for some of you."

Syneisha nodded at Olon's words, showing her full agreement.

"Take the opportunity while we're at Port Nowhere to acquire the tools you believe you might need. We won't be completely dry after we leave here, but some goods will be much easier to acquire here."

She took a deep sip of her tea before continuing. "We'll be heading to Hapes in a few days, but on the other side of the planet to a remote resort. As Olon said earlier, we'll be taking care of the cost of staying there. There we'll have time to properly go through the plans, and to practice for the big night."

[VIRGO]

They're nodding, gnawing absently at a ragged pinky nail, eyes focused, elsewhere, chasing down ideas for a long moment before returning to the room as Olon speaks. Out of trouble, sure.

Leaning toward VIRGO, she says "We'll talk later about your first trip through there, yeah?" It's only half a question.

"Of course," the hologram nodded. "We can speak further tomorrow, without an audience."
