"Hey, can't remember the names of every entertainer when you're getting drunk. You're not nearly cute enough to be remembered like that, you know." That got a laugh between them at least.

The laughter soon died though with the reminder that they were stuck on duty. "Yeah, well, it's either doing the job we're asked to do, or heads will roll. Not everyone can be a so-called comedian like you.”
Virillo continues to distract, confident that any moment now the kid would emerge with the data.

“Yeah you got a point, comedians got freedom but you guys have stability and the feeling of a job done well.”
Hopping up on a crate.
“I actually once went to a job interview to be a guard. After twelve hours in the waiting room, they hired me.”

The garbage chute, Not the most glamorous option, but Alsten wasn't a ninny. Nar Shadda was bascially jump a huge dumpster anyways, so it wasn't really anything he hadn't done before.

It shouldn't be a problem to squueze inside, or well it shouldn't be. Unfortuently being in the middle of a growth spurt didn't help you gettign into tight spaces. Ans alsten was left with going back emty handed or trying to figure something else out.

up the garbage chute, Corrdination at average: 1eP+2eA+1eB+2eD 1 failure, 4 advantage

"Is that the punch-line?" one of the guards looked a bit confused, trying to piece together if this was a joke or not.

---

Well used to the garbage dumps of Nar Shaddaa, this one was almost like home; cramped, smelly, overbearing. But being a growing teen had its complications. With certainty he had been able to squeeze into an even tighter space than this less than half a year ago!

But at least he didn't get stuck in the failed attempt. That would've been embarrassing. (Advantage)

He could give up, Hylo probably wouldn't fault him too much for it. Maybe a last ditch effort could be to sabotage something, something loud that could draw attention from the guards to make them move away from the entrance to the ship. But that would be even riskier than sneaking through the garbage chute.

Well, that didn't go how he thought it would, and while he would like to make a lot of noise and sneak on board that did pretty much put an end to keeping things discreet.

Perhaps a little luck was on his side though as he looked one last time up the garbage chute he managed to catch sight of a piece of durasheet with what looked like coordinates on it. Snatching it up, he pocketed it before closing the chute again, and moving to make his exit.

Over all it was a bit of a failure, but hopefully this piece of paper would have some sort of reliable clue on it.

Stealth away from the ship. (Using the same difficulty of previous roll): 1eP+2eA+1eB+1eC+1eD 1 success

“Oh no. This... this is my punchline.”
Virillo opens his mouth... and the just walks off with a whistle. Heading back towards the meeting spot.

"What the kriff?" the confused thugs watch Virillo walk away, having no idea what's been happening. They exchange some words amongst them, which mostly amount of reasoning that Virillo had planned to ask for a job interview with Nok as a guard or something, but had chickened out.

Meanwhile, Alsten managed to move away from the ship undetected as well, meaning it was a safe getaway for both of them.

Well it hadn't gone how he hoped, but then sometimes these things just didn't.

He'd wait aways away for Virillo to catch up before he left, the fellow kinda might want to know how things went at least.

Then he'd have to contact hylo and arrange a meeting or something.

“Soooo.”
Virillo rubs his hands together
“Success? I’ve just realised that security guards are actually a really hard subject for jokes, they have a job that is by definition boring although....”
Slapping his forehead
“Damn it, I just remembered one that might have worked.”

"That's something at least." Alstwn replied after a moment. It was more success then what he had.

"Figure you'll get to use that joke sooner rather then later too."

"Yeah." He nodded at that. "I can't say I'm much good at making plans." Though it should of been pretty straightforward.

"I'll have to work on that in the future."

Virillo saunters off with a wave over his shoulder.

“Take care now.”
