I went to find it for my own use, but as long as I dug it up I thought I'd share it:

With that roll on scanning the Baron's goods, I feel like whoever Isond got that scanner from deals in the ones that read backwards or something.

Turns out the corpse of the baron is inside the box and his place has been taken by an imposter.

What's usually best when it comes to Star Wars character progression, investing in skills or schools?

It really depends on what you want to be able to do. Specs give you more talent options/new school skills/another Dedication option. Skills can be great if they key off talents or if you just want to be great at something. They aren't as flashy but I've never regretted high skill ranks.

Yeah it really depends.

Some Talent-trees have skills they are more closely linked to and benefit from pumping that Skill.

Hrm, yeah, might just go ranks. I feel I don't need talent anymore gimmicks with the character. XD

Thank you for the input.

Usually rushing a tree's dedication is the most efficient, but some trees are pretty terrible for that. Gambler isn't a great tree for heading for dedication but it does have other strong talents. Double or nothing and second chances are both very very strong, particularly in event driven games like this one.

Yeah, my general plan is: get the cool "break the rules" talents + dedication (and Force Rating, if applicable) then go into a new tree. Depending on XP next session, I may or may not get a second tree. It's more likely that I collect a few more talents/skills for the final mission.

Skills always seem to be underwhelming to me and are best used to make your low characteristics shine a bit more. Like the intelligence 2 guy buying computers to three.

I had two three's on Z at character start and I really didn't end up liking either. All in all though its just preference.
