A skilled ship mechanic, Delcan purchased an Azalus-class Hutt dreadnaught, the Potentate's Pride, from the one-time Hutt Cartel Supreme Mogul, Barabbula the Hutt, at a supreme discount without the Hutt's full comprehension of what the Duros was going to do with the inoperative ship.

It took Delcan six years with a full crew and a huge stack of credits to retrofit the vessel and re-open it as a mobile cantina under the name Port Nowhere.

It took only a couple of years for Port Nowhere to quickly become a favored place for the various spacers and criminals in the galaxy, as Port Nowhere is completely neutral ground with no affiliations to the Republic, the Empire, the Hutt Cartel, or any other syndicate or government. And Delcan and his crew prefers it to stay that way.

Visitors of Port Nowhere know better than to irritate the Duros and his crew by violating the rules of neutrality, as there is no laws to protect one from getting spaced out here...

Delcan is not much of a people-person, so most of the day-to-day running of Port Nowhere's functions are left to other members of his crew. He himself keeps focused on making connections to the right people when he must, but mostly on keeping the floating cantina running and fully operational.

Aquaria


Cathar | Nobody's Fool | Runs A Tight Ship

One of Delcan's most trusted crewmembers, Aquaria is responsible for greeting visitors to Port Nowhere as they arrive... and walk them through the routine of informing them of the port's rules, convince them to cough up money for security-fees, and make sure they aren't on the list of unwanted troublemakers. She keeps track of everyone who comes and goes, and is quite good at always giving the right recommendations for visitors that will make them spend extra cash at the Port's amenities.

Barreth "Barkeep"


Zabrak | Pirate | Muscled | Barkeep of the Supernova Cantina

Retired pirate-muscle, Barreth is the barkeep of the Supernova cantina, and also its bouncer in case of rowdy customers. The Supernova is perhaps the "fanciest" cantina on Port Nowhere, and is where the majority of gambling happens, and is the location for all the high-stakes games.

Even if he has left that particular life behind now, he's still very knowledgeable on the topic of various Outer Rim pirates.

Violet Dawn

Violet Dawn is known as a hot shot pilot that will do runs no one else will do, and do almost any other run faster than most people out there. If you need something transported, shipped, or delivered, no questions asked and with the utmost security, Violet is the lady for the job.

It's also said that she's got quite extensive connections to very lucrative job opportunities...

Silk is a rarity in Port Nowhere - someone without a criminal record! However, a friend of a friend of a friend helped them out with some financial trouble, and when they spoke of fulfilling their dream of having a spectacular club with dazzling entertainment, they were forwarded to Port Nowhere. Silk has contributed a much needed air of glitter, glitz, bedazzling charm, and pizazz to the port's entertainment, and many visitors like to visit The Silky Salon for entertainment of music, beauty, and humor. The shows run in the style of burlesque, dance, music, and drag, and the rules of the salon are clear in that the performers are not available for more private services.

Hylo Visz

Mirialan | Hylo Visz's Smuggling Contingent | Daring

Hylo hails from the Colonies world of Balmorra, she escaped the planet in her youth and headed to Nar Shaddaa where she joined up with other war-orphans forming their own band. Visz soon found that her true calling was piloting and worked as a freelancer for several years before the Hutt Cartel officially hired her. In her beloved ship, the Crimson Fleece, the Mirialan made a name for herself as a proficient and talented privateer, but during a delivery to Corellia, she lost the Fleece in an ambush. Visz survived the incident and was able to escape Corellia with a stolen experimental starship known as the Vanguard.

After the Corellia incident, the Mirialan decided that she no longer needed to work for the Cartel, and abandoned Nar Shaddaa to become an independent smuggler. She began an on again, off again relationship with the Devaronian con artist Tyresius Lokai and eventually became the leader of her own smuggling ring. The two parted ways not too long ago, and not on good terms - and Hylo's dislike of Tyresius is well known.

While mostly a free-spirit, Hylo does support the Republic over the Empire, and has become somewhat of an underworld contact for various folks in the Republic who believe that it's worth having friends in low places against the Empire. And Hylo is on the look-out for likeminded people.

Prince Apollo

Hapan | Son of the Queen Mother | Academic | Duelist

Prince Apollo is a son of the Queen Mother, which puts him in the prestigious position of possibly marrying or fathering an heir to the throne... but also ultimately being unable to rule himself. Which has so far worked out for him as he has engrossed himself in academical pursuits. He's excelled in sciences, and has suggested changes to the astro-navigation of the Hapes fighters to navigate the nebula of their system, for faster maneuverability and attack speed.

As a member of the royal family, he is well educated in the finer points of society, including dancing, poisoning, duelling with swords and pistols, proper backstabbing, and evading assassins.

There are no rumors of any paramours or love interests, and his marriage to princess Erdene of Onderon is purely political and economical to cement a trade agreement between the two monarchies.

Princess Erdene

Onderonian | Daughter of Queen Lina | Huntress | Pilot

Princess Erdene Petryph, daughter of the current regent Queen Lina, is one of the Queen's two children. Her older brother, Regalun, is the heir appearant to the throne and is expected to ascend to the throne in a couple of years when Lina retires.

As Onderon is still a planet with much wilderness, and dangerous beasts frequently move between Onderon and its moon Dxun during the Joining in the summer (when the planet and the moon join atmospheres), Erdene is no stranger to hunting dangerous game. She has cared little for the studies expected of a member of a royal family, and has spent most of her adolescent and adult life hunting aggressive wildlife or piloting between Dxun and Onderon.

Rumors has it that she has a lover she meets in secret on Dxun, but they are only rumors that have not been confirmed, denied or acknowledged by the Onderon royal family.

It's no secret that she is not happy about her upcoming nuptials with prince Apollo, but so far is going along with her mother's wishes. The fact that she's been outspoken against Onderon joining the Galactic Republic has probably also been a factor in marrying her off to the anti-Republic Hapes Consortium.

Matkina

Matkina is nobody special. Just a gal who lucked into winning the super-extraordinary Gemini Croquettes contest lottery for a weekend-stay at the fancy Azure Atoll resort. She even delivered a brief interview to the radio host responsible for hosting the contest. It didn't go well.

Truth of the fact is, she's part of Drayen's gang, and she's here on the job... possibly.
