Getting The Team Together [D1EA]

Location: Hangar, Olon's ship

Chairs are arranged. Tea is brewed. The viewscreen is lit up and ready to go. Olon and her crew know all of you, but for a job like this, a first meeting is still warranted.

[Tenel Olon]

Olon herself sat in the seat closest to the viewscreen. The controls for it were not far from her hand, but she was instead holding a mug of tea.

A pleasant smile and tea would be offered to anyone who entered.

[Jedra Cha]

While Jedra wasn't first to the scene, he was among the first, waving his hand to Olon before accepting his cup and finding a seat for himself, dusting the chair before sitting down. Red eyes scanned the room as he waited others to arrive.

[Kaurin Vizla]

Kaurin wasn't in a seat. Instead, he was leaning casually against the side wall, arms crossed.

He gave Jedra a smile and a vague wave as the Pantoran came in.

[HK-51]

Mechanical joints clunked and clinked as HK entered the ship, his yellow optics taking measures of the situation and location as he entered, his rifle slung on his back.

"Greetings: Greetings." He said to the room, his mechanical head nodding at everyone in turn.

[Jedra Cha]

Jedra's eyes widened as he saw the robot, though he did manage to keep his cool, nodding at HK as it entered the room, picking up his cup to sip some of the tea, wondering what herbs Olon used to brew hers. He really, really hoped it wasn't anything particularly narcotic.

[Gruwmun]

The wookie stood behind Olon, his scruffy "hair" concealing some of his eyes, but it wasn't hard to see that his attention often drifted to the screen. And then back again to the gathered folks to make sure he hadn't missed anything.

"<rrowr hhrr gurrr>"* he grumbled, shaking his head.

[VIRGO]

"It must be challenging to one's worldview that a manufactured Hunter-Killer droid is gifted with more processing power than oneself," the digitalized voice mused.

The voice belonged to a hologram. A little smaller than an average human in height, with rather androgynous features except for the face that seemed more feminine.

VIRGO's words made Gruwmun the wookie grumble incomprehensibly in response, to which she only laughed.

[Kaurin Vizla]

"Ooh, sick burn from the AI." Kaurin murmured.

[Chomaron Paladash]

"Looks like a party." Chomaron's deep bass filled the room as his body filled the doorway, before moving into the room with incongruous grace. Olon received a toothy grin and a polite nod. "Always a pleasure."

Smoothly he took a large mug of tea and found a place he could see the screen from before raising the mug at the others. "Been keeping busy?"

[Teffa]

A team gathering and meet n' greet? Teffa was there for that! She would meander into the meeting casually in a mechanic's jumpsuit with a few tools in her pockets and belt. It was her way to say 'Imma mechanic!' while affirming that she was doing her usual business in the hangar and nothing suspicious was going on.

Truth be told, she hadn't really done any mechanical work in a while. It was a bit ago when she made a mess with the landing gear and the Trunk beached itself by a lake. Arbee made a fuss about not allowing Teffa doing any mechanical work again and that the next captain of the Trunk would do a better job. That felt ominous.

"Hey, folks!" she greeted everyone in the room with a smile.

[Jedra Cha]

Watching a beautiful woman enter the room, Jedra's eyes followed Teffa as she entered the room, quickly figuring out that she was actually a Chiss where he only merely pretended to be one, making note of dropping his 'role' to avoid any and all awkward situations. "Hello." he greeted the newcomer with a careful wave of his hand, casually making a note how she looked like a grease monkey, wondering what Olon had on her mind. Perhaps the Chiss was here to break into a safe?

[Syneisha Versathi]

"Oh my, quite the gathering already," the red twi'lek purred as she entered from behind a closed door leading to another room. It would appear she'd taken a bit more time than the rest of Olon's crew to get ready for the meeting.

"My, this is the first time I've seen a Karkadon this close. Those teeth do look impressive."

[Kaddhur]

Kaddhur had thought way too long about trying not to seem overeager but also was overeager and afraid of missing anything important. As a result, he showed up a degree of early that would have struck anyone else as innocuous, but which he was sure was embarrassingly wrong and everyone knew. If he thought about how little people were paying attention to him, and moreover how unlikely it was his masked face and unfamiliar feathered body language gave away much on short acquaintance, he might be reassured.

Seeing Kaurin adopting a cool-Mando-leaning-against-the-wall pose, Kaddhur does likewise on the opposite wall (he also gives out a chripy chuckle when Kaurin affirms VIRGO's joke, even though it had gone over his head). Those there before him and those that come in get a slow, cool nod, a gesture whose effect is somewhat spoiled by the fact that otherwise his head is in constant motion. The light reflecting off the uneven five-pointed-star of his Mandalorian visor, and the wafting of his four facial plumes (let free by slits in the mask), draw attention to each tilt and pivot.

It might be difficult to tell, but Gruwmun, standing next to Olon, gets more than his share of the attention. Or maybe it's Olon herself?

[Adrienna D'avir]

Addy was next, and as she appeared in the doorway she paused to glance about the room. Syn of course was first to get a nod from the woman, then looking around at the other faces. Seeing none other familiar than the expected she found her way over toward Chomaron to find a spot near her crewmate, but not before accepting a cup of tea which she guarded along the way. Settling into her seat she rested the cup on her thigh, holding it steady with the one hand.

Attention back to the rest of the room, she did her best that she might remember everybody's faces.

[Jedra Cha]

Jedra glanced nervously at the two mando, wondering what Olon had done to win loyalty - or at least the services of such individuals. Then again, he had heard stories of mando who were willing to do almost anything for the right price. Having somehow expected a con job, the Pantoran was starting to wonder if their small group was actually meant to storm a galactic bank on some distant planet.

[Chomaron Paladash]

"My, this is the first time I've seen a Karkadon this close. Those teeth do look impressive."

Chomaron turned to the Twi'lek and nodded. "You can always get a little closer." A low rumble that might might have been a laugh was accompanied by a quick flash of even more teeth.

Addy received a wink as she approached and took a seat. It wasn't their first space rodeo with Olon's crew.

[Isond Vaal]

Eyes on a datapad until just before the door, Isond only looks up then to avoid running into anyone pausing there, then searches out a seat and absently accepted cup of tea before glancing around at the gathering. She offers HK the hint of a nod, studies the resident Karkadon intently for a long moment before keying the pad off and slipping it inside her jacket someplace.

"Statement: I do not like discriminatory meatbags, yet here I am. Professionalism is a valuable skill." The droid waved at the familiar and unfamiliar faces. "Compliment: VIRGO, you are looking as digital as ever."

She offers HK the hint of a nod, studies the resident Karkadon intently for a long moment before keying the pad off and slipping it inside her jacket someplace.

Addy's scanning gaze was distracted when Isond entered, focusing on the newcomer. Another quick scan and then she focused on the woman for a moment. As Isond studies Chomaron Addy studies Isond. Furrowing her brow as she did and shifting up a bit in her seat.
