"My Lords and Ladies, honoured gentlebeings, allow me the pleasure of introducing your first contestant in the Most Esteemed category. Here he is, long time guest and frequent title holder: Sir Reginald Furioso of Alderaan!" A behatted gentleman of impeccable bearing made a dignified entrance.

"Let me say it is a pleasure to be back and I'm just thrilled, thrilled to be here again. I'd like to thank our gracious hosts for allowing me to start tonight's proceedings against some sort of giant vile fish-monster." With a tip of his hat Sir Reginald walked into the old fashioned ring. Polite applause and much nodding of heads followed.
"And here comes Sir Reginald's opponent, from somewhere in the Outer Rim, our, ahem, first ever Karkarodon guest: Chomaron Paladash... um, Esquire." A more muted round of applause, and some muttering about letting just anyone take part these days, accompanied Chomaron's entrance. He didn't exude dignity like his opponent. Just raw power and the smell of the ocean. "Thanks for letting me join in. You know, I ain't got my opponent's way with words, but anyone who steps into the ring got my respect. Let's be civil, huh?"
That seemed to fluster Sir Reginald, who was obviously expecting an uncouth brute or scallywag. He glared daggers and advanced as the bell rang. Chomaron had him all figured out though. After a few minutes of testing defenses a series of jabs, crosses, and a well-placed blow to the side of his head knocked the Alderaanian off his stride.
DING!
Murmuring and nodding heads came from the judges. "Ah. It seems Round one goes to our challenger. Well boxed!"
Sir Reginald straightened his hat, dusted himself off and offered an obviously grudging bow. "Sorry I called you a monster old chap. Perhaps I misjudged you."
Chomps cracked his knuckles and nodded. "Yeah, probably. You wouldn't be the first, but thanks for saying so. Takes guts to admit you were wrong. Apology accepted." The audience quietly reassessed the fish-monst...Karkarodon.
As round 2 began Chomps seemed to be effortlessly blocking his opponent's best moves. In fact he was being almost absurdly polite about the whole thing. Clearly he had read the rules. Sir Reginald just got more and more irritated until eventually he lashed out with a foot to Chomaron's knee. The audience gasped. A glass was dropped. Murmurs of disapproval abounded. None had expected Sir Reginald to act like such a cad! Chomaron's response was a series of jabs followed by an uppercut, just before the judges decided to penalise Sir Reginald for his uncouth behaviour.
DING DING.
"Please put your hands together for the winner, by unanimous decision, Chomaron Paladash Esq.!"
Not a bad showing at all...
